*drum roll and a little dance*
....I'm going State side!
Yes indeed, I have a place in the Artists Alley at New York Comic Con! They hand select the artist and I couldn't believe when my application was accepted! I will be there for all 4 days starting this Thursday. I'm so excited, I've been so busy lately it hasn't had a chance to sink in. It'll be my first time ever going over to the States, I have a couple of days after the convention to myself, so I'll get to explore New York a bit at least. Can anyone recommend things I should do/see there? Especially on the look out for lesser known excitements. It's the furthest I've traveled for a convention, and with outgoings so high I'm really not in this one for the money Apparently half my dA visitors come from the US, and it's been my dream for a long time to go out and meet some of you! I'll do a journal cataloging all the funz when I'm back so you all can enjoy
So who's going to be there? *crosses fingers*
I would be really appreciative if anyone could offer to lend a hand while there... I am literally going to be all on my lonesome, I don't know anyone (yet XD) So it'll be just me to look after the stall the whole time, and I'm sure I could use a hand sometimes, mostly just simple things like grabbing a coffee, but perhaps send me a note if you could do any more dedicated helping
Weird question: any DIY shops round NY? Only thing is, for my stall set up, I need poles, I attach them to the table then hang my prints off them. I can't take mine from the UK because they're to long to fit in my suitcase! XD So I need to pick some up in NY. Unless any of you guys have a spare set you could lend me?
As for my last journal, I'm sorry I had no time today to reply yet (y'know been busy preparing and all that) but, as ever, you're fantastic. I am literally smiling now thinking about how great you've been. This trip puts into perspective just how lucky I really am.

U9
That's U for unicorn and 9 for 9 lives. Imagine a unicorn with 9 lives; you don't have to imagine it dying 8 times.... that's not in the spirit of the thing... just 9 happy lives. Yeah. Well. ~Come and find my and my unicorn thereFundraising to help Blue
This is Blue's partner Joe. I have bad news to report unfortunately, Blue is currently recovering in a Suicide Respite House after another horrible mental health episode. So I've started this GoFundMe campaign to help get her the medical care she needs to recover long term.
I love her so much, and know so many of you love her too, so I hope we can help her together.
Thank you 💙
