Characters from W.I.T.C.H comics
I decided to try my hand at something traditional again since I havent done anything 'real' for a while. Its made from a strange mix of pencil, biro pen, coloured pencils, watercolour, acrylic and would you believe it, tippex  It look so much better in real life, its really great to have something tangible but scanners are devil spawn. Edited a bit in photoshop for your pleasure  still couldnt get all the grainyness out though -_-Time taken? hmmm... 20 hours or so.... relativly quickly for me but with traditonal I dont get to obsess over tiny tiny deatils, but I did have my work cut out for me with 5 characters XD I did enjoy doing this a lot. This was done at a4 size, well actuly slightly smaller as I misplaced the first character I drew rather off center so in the real thing its squashed to the left side, I must get my strimmer out and sort to that XDRe-designed their outfits as I do like doing that Artwork © Alice de Ste Croix Characters © whoever owns W.I.T.C.H! |
