The only light she sees falls through a boarded up window, it's warm but faint, only 5 thin lines.... 5 thin lines... the same as the music she used to write, she smiles, what an opportunity, grabbing her pen she creates a symphony in her head.
A piece about how inspiration can come from the strangest of places, and how we should keep an open mind to creating our own world.
Shes been trapped down there for weeks now... zombie apocalypse they say, shes not coming out to find out if they're the kind from Walking Dead or Left 4 Dead! she has enough food and water but just needs some inspiration...
Ya'll got a zombie plan? I know I have
I also know, like this girl, I would go crazy if I couldn't draw or find some kind of creative stimulation. My inspiration for this really came to me when I was washing up! The low winter sun came through the blinds making those lines across everything, I thought I could use them to write on like lined paper, and music staves was the natural progression to that ^-^
I still feel quite new to backgrounds, and I have to say this one was a little tricky, if anyone has any critique on it then I'm all ears, I'm just learning as I go along XD The music does make a nice little tune, though I'm not very good with sheet music, I just listen to things and work them out on the piano, as you can imagine I listened to so much awesome music while drawing this. When I work I really love orchestral stuff, OST from films and games, Final Fantasy and Braid were on a lot for this one ^_^
Do feel free to share this, just please properly credit me and post a link back to here, thanks guys! Please don't
edit the watermark off, it's not very nice
Now convention season is almost over, I have more time to draw, and also to post stuff! Yay. I set up a little online shop, it will be open over the Christmas period (and hopefully beyond) and you can order prints and limited edition canvases destinyblue.storenvy.com/
