Bit of a remake of an old picture. Cute magical girl ^0^ I always enjoy looking at the 'draw this again' memes and I had a bit of a go myself... though it's not quite as true as them, I took my inspiration from an old picture rather than tried just to re-drew XD

My first picture done almost completely in Paint tool SAI. I've been feeling a bit cramped with all that OpenCanvas can do recently, I thought getting SAI might save me time, oh how wrong I was XD haha, but that was mostly because I was learning what it could do and how the tools worked and differed. I'm relatively happy with the result.
The plan was to have her cell shaded and the BG soft shaded. For two reasoons: so I could try doing both with SAI and because I wanted it to look a bit like a screen cap from a game, y'know the ones with beautifully rendered backgrounds where the characters pop up when they talk and just change facial expressions XD Oh and I wanted glow... yessshh... magic butterfly glooowww....

Yep yep, many anatomy errors there, I've been sketching a lot more from real life since drawing this and am getting better at more realistically stylising anatomy since this, some stuff I didn't realise was off is glaring at me now, her waist much XD
