Words of Thanks

I wish I could personally thank every single one of you who has shown me and my art support, it's not always possible to reply personally to each comment I get. I do read every single one!
So I must give a heartfelt thank you here and let you know how much I appreciate all of your kind words and support over the years.
I hope continuing sharing with you little pieces of my soul through my art is thanks enough

Where did you learn to draw?
I'm completely self taught! My high school art teacher told me cartoons were not art, so I didn't peruse any formal education in art. My drive came from within, to draw something into existence has always been intoxicating for me.

Where do you get your inspiration?
Drawing is the way I can best express myself. My art is like a visual diary, documenting feelings, thoughts and events. I find my inspirations all over, most often in everyday life, or the need get crap out of my head onto paper.
Please don't let me darker work fool you. I'm naturally a cheerful person; who has struggled with tough times. During the hard times I use drawing as an escape, a way to vent and put my story on paper, to be constructive with the destructive thoughts. It's been a life saver.

Do you do commissions?
Never, sorry. If someone is controlling my pen with their money I find it stifling. Staying independent is really important to me. I need to tell my own stories, an I know you guys appreciate seeing original work :)

Do you do requests?
No, sorry. See above. Minus money. This includes drawing you XD

What tools do you use?
PhotoShop CS6 and SAI, and a Wacom intuos3 drawing tablet, or my snazzy new Cintiq Companion. I recommend looking at Wacoms 'Bamboo' range if you're just starting out :)

Do you read your comments?
Every. Single. One. The support and feedback you give me is beautiful and often overwhelming I'm truly sorry I cannot reply to everyone (If I did I would never get any drawing done XD) but I read them all, and so many of you have touched me more deeply then you'll ever know

Can I use your art for something personal/non profit?
Please do! I love it when people use my art for wallpapers/backgrounds/tattoos/scrapbooks
I also love to see my work shared, as long as credit is provided

Can I use your art for my commercial product?
No. You may not use my art for your financial gain.

Can I do a school assignment about you?
What an honour ^-^ Please feel free to, though I'm sorry I can't personally answer questions, I have covered a lot in my full FAQ:

Can I create something inspired by you?
Wow, yes! I adore seeing works I helped inspire  Please do. Stuff like this makes my day :)

Where can I buy prints?
You can order signed prints which I produce and sign personally form my store:
Online stores closed, selling exclusively at conventions at the moment  :)

I have more questions!
That's not actually a question ;)
But if you would like to know anything more please check out my long full FAQ here:

Thank you!

For the last few days I've been looked after in hospital; they've been caring for me in a psychiatric unit, after I had a bad (and quite scary) mental health episode.

I'm feeling a bit better now. They let me out on Christmas morning, and I spent the rest of the day with my family :)

I hope this explains why I haven't replied to all your kind messages. Phones and laptops were not allowed on the ward. I'll try to tackle important messages in the next few days, though I realise I'll have to take things slowly and look after myself. I just wanted to keep you guys informed, even though there's no definite answers yet. When I'm feeling better I'll speak more about everything.

Wishing you all a happy and mentally healthy holiday time

Peace, Love, and Recovery,
~Blue xx

Thanks for all your supportive messages

I know it can sounds really scary and horrible that I was hospitalised. However I do consider it a positive thing. It meant I could get help in a place that could properly look after me. Trained professionals were on hand to help and make sure things couldn't escalate. Of course a psychiatric ward is not a place anyone wants to be, but it is the best place for someone who needs immediate and supervised help. I am very grateful to the doctors and nurses there.

At the moment I am technically 'on leave' from the ward. So I'm not officially discharged. I go back on New Years Eve and will be assessed again, and we'll see where things go from there. I'll keep you updated :)

Congratulation! You've earn the award! You deserve it so much my beloved artist!
I dearly want to see you irl butt it just painful because of the fact that I can not, blame it on the distance and how I can't afford to do what I want.
You are such an amazing artist! I've been watching you since last years but I feel like I can understand you through your arts they are such amazing and you have no idea how much I love them!
I've typed this message for like hundred times but because of the poor wifi signal and all other problems, I can only post it to you this time. Lol.
If you break down with all the mental illness and depression, please stay strong and hold on to life! You know you have thousands of people who love you dearly! I hope to be your friend sometimes although I'm too young, too dumb, too naive. And I hope I can be a person you can trust and have faith on so I could help you every time you break down.
Remember to hold on. You've been very strong, we are really proud of you. And when you share your status like that is not annoying at all so please don't be hesitate share us anything you want to. Especially about your health.
It's fine if you don't respond this message, I will still forever be your huge supporter and fan! Cheerleader
Stay strong! I love you!:backhug:

Just thought to pop in a bit; wandering around on the internets. Glad to see that you're still making awesome art for people and that things are going relatively well for you.

Keep doing what you're doing, girl :D

. . . Hello. It's Ok if you don't answer, I'm alright :)

I really like your art, especially since (I think I am right) most of your artworks have a meaning behind them, right? So it kinda makes them even more impressive (flattery is getting me nowhere so I'll get to the point). I was kinda hoping to enter the Emotions challenge you set up, but I failed to get it in on time ^^;. So only if you want to, you can have a look at the picture? Just looking at it would be enough :)

Hi, umm i know you probably won't respond to this snce you get so many comments and messages but i was wondering if you could answer a question for me? I'm trying to improve my skills and work towards a job/goal that i would like and an opportunity has risen for me to get some software. I was wondering what programs you use to create your artworks as i am trying to get as many suggestions and oppinions as i can before i decide which ones i am going to get.
Thank you
